CEITEC BUT senior researcher, Edgar Montufar, attended conference Bioceramics 33.
During his visit, he presented the GlaCerHub project to scientists, industry representatives and clinicians from around the world, as the conference was an ideal venue to network with leading experts in the design, properties, processing and use of ceramics and glasses in medicine.
Dr Montufar discussed the capabilities of the GlaCerHub consortium to provide advice, testing and characterisation of calcium phosphate ceramics with representatives of the largest European company supplying certified calcium phosphate materials to the biomedical industry.
And with representatives of a Swiss company in the field of thermal spraying technology in the medical sector, the capabilities of the GlaCerHub consortium to provide services in the semi-industrial production of calcium phosphate coatings.
This mission was funded by the GlaCerHub project.
