CEITEC Student Talent Summer School
The 4th year of CEITEC Student Talent Summer School has successfully finished.
This year also with participation of GlaCerHub Advanced Multifunction Ceramics Research Group scientists: Vojtěch Mařák, Erik Ščasnovič and Marek Rotter!!
33 secondary school students worked on 11 topics ranging from 3D printing and biomedical materials to magnetism and plasmonics. Apart from their work in the lab, they also enjoyed scientific lectures and entertainment activities such as improvisation workshop and a pub quiz. At the end, they had to present their work to an expert jury.
During their ten-minute presentations, the students discussed their topics, research backgrounds, specific measurements, conclusions, and potential applications. The jury asked follow-up questions and provided valuable feedback.
The performances were so outstanding that the jury awarded extraordinary prizes to not just one but three teams!
Congratulations to all the participants for their hard work and dedication, and a big thank you to the whole organisational team.
