On 24th April 2024 we had the great honour of welcoming to CEITEC BUT the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic - Ing. Ingrid Brocková, CSc., MIPP, accompanied by the Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Jaroslav Weigl.

Brno University of Technology Vice Rector for Internationalisation and External Relations, Assoc. prof. Šimberová, Director of CEITEC BUT, prof. Vrba together with the representative Dr. Krečmer and members of the CEITEC ceramic research groups presented the consortium of the Central European Institute of Technology and the staff and laboratory facilities of CEITEC BUT.

Blahomír Skoupý, product manager, together with representatives of CEITEC BUT ceramic research groups, prof. Maca, Assoc. prof. Čelko and Assoc. prof. Částková, presented the GlaCerHub project, its history, current priorities and long–term goals, as well as the very successful cooperation with Slovak scientific institutions and industrial partners.

The discussion took place in a very friendly and supportive atmosphere and Ambassador Brocková appreciated the long-term and close cooperation with the Slovak partners.

Honorary Consul Weigl also spoke about efforts to further develop cross-border cooperation.
