GlaCerHub International Innovation Board inaugural meeting
On 25th of March, the International Innovation Board of the GlaCerHub project held its inaugural meeting.
The meeting took place online and it was chaired by the director of the FunGlass Centre and the GlaCerHub project coordinator, prof. Dušan Galusek. The International Innovation Board serves as an advisory body to the Hub Board (the decision-making body), providing valuable insights and recommendations.
The International Innovation Board consists of seven eminent personalities representing the leading European industrial and academic institutions specialising in glass-ceramic research:
- Dr. Csaba Balazsi, PhD., DSc. – Centre for Energy Research, (ELKH) Centre of Excellence, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Hungary;
- Dr. Andrew David Chew, CEng, CSci, CPhys, FInstP – Global Applications Manager of Scientific Vacuum Division, Atlas Copco, U.K.;
- Prof. Monica Ferraris – Full Professor of Science and Technology of Materials at Politecnico di Torino, Italy;
- Prof. Anne Leriche, PhD. – Laboratory of Advanced Ceramic Materials and Processes at the University of Valenciennes, France;
- Dr. Nina Obradovic – Serbian Academy of Science and Arts, Belgrade, President of Serbian Ceramic Society, Serbia;
- Prof. Vladimir V. Srdic – Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad, Serbia.
