Together with company METALCO, we have prepared a full day professional seminar/workshop on hardness testing methods that will provide you with theoretical and above all practical knowledge in the field of hardness measurement.

On the 10^th (or 11^th) of September 2024, you will hear about new trends in hardness measurement and much more, including calibrations and information on new technologies for measuring Rm and Re by indentation.

The seminar/workshop is held at the beautiful premises of CEITEC BUT in Brno, Czech Republic.

In the course of the seminar/workshop, with emphasis on the practical aspects of hardness measurement, the following topics will be covered:

• The theory of hardness measurement using Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell and other methods.
• Practical examples and application tips.
• The current state-of-the-art in hardness measurement.
• How to maximise the accuracy of hardness measurement results.
• Options for automating hardness measurement.
• Calibration of hardness testers.
• Managing hardness measurement data.
• New measurement technologies - Rm and Re measurements using indentation.
• Workshop with hardness testers, work on own specimens, discussion of the results obtained.
