CEITEC BUT researchers captivated dozens of visitors with demonstrations on the mysteries of ceramics, including 3D printing, levitating ceramic superconductors and the fascinating applications of unique ceramics in ballistic protection. Visitors, particularly young ones, were able to create their own ceramic snowflake toys and witness the transformation of a liquid into a solid using ambient temperature and specific wavelengths of light. The team also unravelled simple mysteries of colours.
The research groups demonstrated the mysterious use of extremely cold and hot temperatures and the magical effects of light through engaging experiments and games, providing an enlightening and entertaining experience for all.
